Your role as a heavy truck mechanic
Provide a clear, accurate, and efficient diagnosis (mechanical and electrical issues)
Perform diesel repairs and preventive maintenance
Repair/work on the following systems:
Hydraulic
Electrical
Pneumatic
Collaborate with the Parts Department, shop foreman, and service advisors to plan and carry out the work
Document your work thoroughly (file follow-ups, reports)
Take part in road tests and ongoing training
Contribute to MASKA quality: safety, cleanliness, rigor, pride in a job well done

Profile - Heavy truck mechanic
DEP in Heavy Truck Mechanics (or equivalent relevant experience)
- 5 years of experience in diesel/heavy truck mechanics (we’ll adapt based on your level)
- Strong knowledge of systems: engines, transmissions, differentials
- Comfortable with computers (tracking, files, documentation)
- Valid driver’s license + your own toolbox
- A strong mindset for safety, rigor, and teamwork
Assets (not required)
- Experience with PACCAR / Cummins
- PEP certification
- Halocarbon certification
