Our Story
A Family Legacy Fueled by Vision
In 1950, Aurel Letendre founded Maska Auto Electric, a small auto electrical workshop in Saint-Hyacinthe. Growth came quickly: Ressorts Maska was established in 1954, followed by Centre du Ressort T-R in 1959. Driven by the second generation, the company expanded through several acquisitions and transformations, including the founding of Camions Maska in 1989, which became a prominent Kenworth dealership in Quebec by 1990.
A Strong Brand, Focused on the Future
The 2000s marked a period of sustained growth, with new branches, SAAQ mandates, two North American “Dealer of the Year” titles, and the acquisition of Kenworth Quebec. MASKA emerged as a major player in the heavy truck industry in Canada. In 2023, the third generation took the wheel, redefining the company’s identity. New name, same DNA: MASKA continues to evolve, driven by passion, excellence, and teamwork.
